Leveling system mod for Mount & Blade
cRPG Mod is a free-to-use utility created by the Donkey Crew for the action RPG titles Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord and Mount & Blade: Warband. This mod primarily focuses on the multiplayer experience, introducing a leveling system typically seen in many RPGs. However, it also adds many new unique weapons and other content.
In a nutshell, cRPG Mod adds persistence to multiplayer. Players will start as a peasant and work their way up the ranks, developing their character the way they want. They can assign points to attributes, skills, and weapons to make their character truly unique.
A persistent multiplayer experience
cRPG Mod brings a substantial change to how multiplayer works in Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord and Mount & Blade: Warband. Unlike in the base game, multiplayer did not have persistent character progress. This utility introduces persistence to multiplayer by adding a leveling system similar to the ones commonly seen in other RPGs. Players can now use points to increase character attributes, improve skills, and upgrade weapons.
Aside from a fully-fledged leveling system, this mod also adds hundreds of unique items to the base game. These items can be acquired from shops, giving players more freedom in customizing their character. These unique items tie into the new mechanic: heirlooms. When you retire a character, you can choose an item to pass on to the next generation. A chosen heirloom will receive increased stats.
Furthermore, this mod makes participating in clan battles more exciting. Members of the same clan are automatically placed on the same side in battles. They are given access to a common armory, treasury, and messaging system. In addition, there are two new game modes namely Strategus and Defend the Virgin. As expected of a large mod, installation can be tough, especially for first-time modders.
